Our Opal Shape Plugs have a white opal with a black background. Synthetic (Lab Grown) opal shape encased in a clear dome flare to magnify the opals brilliance & color.

This is a special kind of opal that is compatible with borosillicate glass. Real opal contains water and will cause the glass to crack. Other synthetic opal that is set in metal is plastic or resin based and will melt when used in glass.

Black reversible back. We do our best to provide pairs of matching jewelry by manufacturing 2 at a time. On large sizes (>22mm), opal will be aprox 6-7mm.

The opal was beautiful but these were not your industry standard style double flare plugs and they were smaller than my other size 0 plugs. The rear flare was only a 1-2mm lip. Even after leaving my plugs out for a week they didnt stay in securely and i lost both of them.

Very disappointed since these were an expensive birthday gift to myself. Not reccomended
