Our Opal Shape Plugs have a white opal with a black background. Synthetic (Lab Grown) opal shape encased in a clear dome flare to magnify the opals brilliance & color.
This is a special kind of opal that is compatible with borosillicate glass. Real opal contains water and will cause the glass to crack. Other synthetic opal that is set in metal is plastic or resin based and will melt when used in glass.
Black reversible back. We do our best to provide pairs of matching jewelry by manufacturing 2 at a time. On large sizes (>22mm), opal will be aprox 6-7mm.
