You may want to put a small dot of
"sticky tack" on the bottom for a secure hold but not required.
Due to the nature of wood, The grain/pattern/hue will vary from piece to piece.
All wood displays are sanded and finished with natural, food grade oil. They may need to be re oiled or use butcher block conditioner.
